Attended the wedding of the decade... Drums roll... Let us welcome the newly wed couple - Steven & Agnes! :) Their 'par toh' really like 爱情长跑 loh. Imagine dating for 10 years before settling down. Omg.. Backtracking back, I know Agnes from UniSIM during our thesis year. Her husband - Steven is her 'bodyguard' by fetching her to and fro school every time without fail. Lucky of me staying near her, I was oftenly given lifts home and sometime we even went out for supper such as Roti Prata, Bak Chor Mee and etc. Agnes... You have really found such a nice gentleman as your husband who will take care of you throughout your life. :)
The solemnization ceremony and wedding dinner were held at Marina Mandarin Hotel. The hotel's ballrooms were categorised according to horoscope which is so interesting. I took half day so as to have ample time for getting ready so as to reach early to attend their solemnization ceremony. It was simple and nice and I am sincerely happy for them. :) After the ceremony, Elaine, Ah Peng & I went in early to the ballroom for their speech rehersal. Dear CJ only reached around 7.35 pm and the dinner finally started around 8+ pm.
Food was so - so. But, 3 cheers to Live Studio for their fantastic photo taking and services provided. Now everything is so high technology till I cant take it within my stride. Lol... The handsome photographer was so active and keep on approaching guests for photo taking. One button of trasmit and those photos appeared on the projection screen WITHIN A FEW SECONDS!!! Can you imagine that? Unbelievable right? This is not the only fantastic part. Other than transmitting the photos to the projection screen, the photos were also trasmitted to 2 Live Studio staff near the reception table whereby 1 staff was in charge of printing onto card size and give to every guest. Whereas, the other staff will go around with his tablet lappy by allowing guests to write blessing messages on the pc savvy with Wacom. No more hard copy guest book le. After that, the photos with blessing messages on the right will be shown on the projection screen within awhile too! We checked with Live Studio staff and was informed that all these gimmicks were part of the wedding packages. It must have cost a bomb because as long as 1 photo has how many guests, every guest will be given 1 photo each. Just alone, I have 4 photos for safe keeping. :)
During the dinner, the 4 of us were bitching around about boyfriends and etc. So funny, cosy and happy talking to them. :) Okay... Okay... I shall let the photos show the happiness and angels flying around. The 4 photos below were scanned from Live Studio one whereas those in my digital camera will be uploaded online after all the photos which I am going to take during Angela Zhang's album signing ceremony and concert tomorrow. Yippee...
I shall end here cause gotta continue with my work.
Enjoy the weekend folks...
Take care & God bless everyone.

My parents can finally relaxed as their 3 kids have already celebrated their milestones by holding big parties, wasting lots of time, effort and money! My youngest brother, John celebrated his 21st bird day on Halloween Nite. It was an advance celebration as his actual birthday falls on 5th November 2009. Looking back to my 21st birthday party, his one was considered small as there were not many preparations like decoration, purchase of fresh flowers to brighten up the place and etc. So, my 21st with Cynthia is still the best! Haha... Guests invited to his birthday were immediate family members, neighbours, childhood friends, poly rugby team mates and 2 gals. Imagine a big group of his friends only has 2 gals! Wahaha... As it was held on Halloween Nite, his friends came dressed as L (The Death Note), Maid from Japanese Cosplay, Wizard and etc. Thus, the party was packed with vibrant colors. :) The party finally ended around 11.00 pm with me shacked like nobody business.
Here are the photos...
It has been an annual routine for me with my schedules kinda packed from October till December. After John's 21st birthday party, I still have to attend my colleague's daughter's 1 year birthday party @ NSRCC this Sunday followed by Steven & Agnes's solemnization cum wedding dinner on 19th November 2009. December will be eventful too with Xmas celebration, Xmas photo shoot and etc. All these events simply mean the hole in my pocket is getting bigger!!! Argh...
Shall end here..
Blog next time with more photos from this Sunday event. :)
Take care folks...

Boss striked 4D 2 weeks ago and he treated us to international buffet dinner at Grand Corpthorne Waterfront Hotel on last Friday. The food was so - so but better than other buffets. :) What's important was the companionship. I dislike buffet as it makes people reveal their true colors, especially those Kiasu Singaporeans. Moreover, I am a small eater so buffet is 'Bo Wah' for me. But, since Boss wants to treat us then just go eat loh. At the same time, it was considered as a farewell dinner for Liu Jie who is going back to China to settle down.
After dinner, Boss psychoed us to go Zouk which is just a few steps away. I dislike going to such place as it is always packed like sardines and we are considered kinda over - age for this place. Wahaha... As it was the nite before Halloween, party goers have already started dressing up like Dracula, Hell Bride from 'The Night before Xmas', Construction Workers and etc. Trick or Treat... Let the photos do the saying...

It is the annual event of holding a mini birthday lunchie during office hours. Guests are none other than those colleagues and bosses. Our usual practice is every colleague forking out a small sum to buy a birthday cake (chosen by the main star) as celebration. I chose a Mango Cake from 4 Leaves as it was super duper nice. :) We also have Ben n Jerry - Chubby Hubby ice cream (Bought by Cheryl) which is my favourite, to match it with Mango Cake and the ample taste of 4S (sourness, sweetness, stickiness and saltiness) was extremely nice!!! Delicious... :)
I really gotta end my blog here. Going to watch movie via my lappy.

As I mentioned in my blog that I am meeting my ex - colleagues and colleagues for dinner on the nite before my birthday. We have dinner at a new restaurant - Xin Wang. Don't misunderstand that it is Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe, instead it is Xin Wang Taiwan Cafe. It's juz a difference in country food served. My food rating: 6/10. Both Noel & I signed up for Xin Wang membership so as to get birthday freebies and discount on membership purchase day. Got a big red bowl which can be used as a drinking bowl or soup bowl (The huge bowl can be seen in most photos attached below). Also got a bottle of cheapo red wine which tasted soury and bland loh. I think drink a whole bottle also won't get drunk. Cannot make it la... Haha...
After dinner, spent the next 1+ hours chit chatting & playing lame games such as 007 at Esplanade. We also 'enjoyed' our red wine while playing games. After a long day, I finally reached home at 12 midnight exactly. Overall rating for dinner cum game: 8/10 :)
Also happy cause I am meeting Dear for my belated birthday outing tomorrow. Can't wait to savour the delicious Salmon Sashimi & Sushi from Sushi Tei. Yummy... Yummy...
Enjoy your weekend folks... :)
God bless...

Held a birthday party on last Saturday with closed friends and family members @ Redhill. It was fun but real tiring for me till I dozed off while sitting down to rest. Dear dozed off too cause he is not feeling well. Poor Dear... :( I didn't invite much friends for the party cause kinda 'pai seh' to hold birthday party @ such an age (Shall not reveal my age cause it's a secret. Sheesh...) But, those friends who I invited reverted back with confirmation in a breeze. This is what I love about my friends by not giving me much inconvenience. I love them more cause the gift they gave were practical too. Overall, the party was a success and I appreciated my family members who helped out in the preparation of this birthday party especially Fat Aunt & Eunice. I shall find a chance to bring you all out for a nice meal soon. :)
As usual, let the photos do the talking...
Dear will be in camp on my actual birthday so he has promised to bring me for a nice dinner @ Vivo City Sushi Tei followed by movie and shopping on this Saturday. I know it sounds like weekly routine but Singapore is way too boring for me to celebrate my birthday in a special way. I shall try to take photos and upload whenever possible.
Another 2 days before I turn 1 year older...
Gotta continue with my ever heaping work. Adios... :)

Celebrated dear's birthday in advance for him as his actual birthday will be spent in camp cramping for his last test. The plan was a mini surprise for him by bringing him for movie, food which he likes and etc. It was on last Saturday and he feedbacked that he really enjoyed the day with my planned secret itinerary. Wheet... :-)
There are more activities coming... Having a birthday party on this Saturday. Supposed to be a mini gathering, in the end it adds up to around 30 guests including my friends, Cynthia'a friends and family members. Shall try my best to enjoy and take lots of photos before uploading onto my blog. Will also be attending a family dinner at the end of October 2009 to mark John's 21st birthday.
Enjoy folks & Happy Deepavali... :)

Happiest day of my life has touched down on 09th October 2009 and it's none other than my long awaiting convocation. Attended this important event with my dearest parents who were million times more anxious and paranoid than me. Bet they are real happy that their eldest daughter has finally wore the university graduation robe and 四方帽 after almost 5 years of hard work. :) My feeling of the day is sentimental with tears welling up in my eyes. Only when the day is approaching knocked some sense into me that I am really graduating after 5 years of part - time studies with full - time job, stress with work, assignments and projects and etc. But, I tahan... Didnt cry in the end. Lol...
Anyway, we took several photos during the convocation. 2 of the nice photos were taken by 1 passer by which I approached. Think he is a professional photographer cause the way he took the photos was unique, professional and the photos turn out great!!! :)
My dad is still pondering about which photo studio to approach for our family photo taking. Those studios we went have excellent staff and their customer services were good. Moreover, the package costs between those studios are relatively close so my dad has a hard time choosing one.
Shall let the photos do the talking. Enjoy folks...

Sorry for the 'not that nice photo' cause Boey was hiding
under the sofa due to fear from the lighted candle. Haha...
Happy Birthday to my dearest Boey!!! :) You have entered into your 8th year on 03rd September 2009. Hope you will be ever joyous, active, curious, cute, smart and handsome. But, please dont continue to be lazy and greedy cause age is catching up ok! Haha...
Love you,
Da Jie
P.S.: Excited about my UniSIM convocation held on 09th October 2009. On that day, I will be officially a graduate from UniSIM!!! Haha...

Celebrated Mum & Zhi Qiang's birthdays at Ah Orh Seafood Restaurant last evening. The food was so - so but price was like extortion! Imagine $400+ for 14 pax. My dad was like paying for the brand loh. Think his heart is bleeding till date. Wahaha... Not much comments for the food though so shall let the photos do the talking.

P.S.: Without Serene's Grandma, maybe I won't even be existing in this world. God bless Serene's Grandma & rest in peace.

Attended Cheryl's daughter - Faith's 5th birthday party at her Condominium Club House yesterday. This party allowed me to mingle with those active and adorable kids by providing nanny services such as feeding, playing, pacifying, peace maker when conflicts occurred and taking care of them. Sounds like I am Superwoman! Haha.. Anyway, kids are gems in his / her parents' eyes regardless of the cumbersome troubles arise upon taking care of them daily. Their cute actions and clever way of talking really brightened up my day. Interactions with them help me to know more about kids and form bonding relationships. :)
I still remember Faith's conversation with her mum during distribution of the birthday cake to every guest.
Faith's Mum (Cheryl): "Faith, can you help me get the plates to put the cake?"
Faith: "I will be willing to help you get the plates since you want me to do so."
Can you imagine a 5 years old girl saying such sentence in fluent English with courtesy? Confirm those kids drink too much milk with all types of proteins such as DHA, FHA and etc. Why all these proteins are not introduced to the 1980s babies? If not, I will be a SMART GENIUS! Haha...
Not forgetting other kids like:
Aidan - You are a lovely boy who laughed out loud over everything. Although you are a boy, but you seek a lot of attention from people around you. :)
Verryn - You are so shy at first. But, when I feed you food, you ate it obligely without complaining. Only after awhile, you started to warm up and played with everyone happily. You are so cute yet with the super mighty power! Imagine a 3 years old gal who hit the pinata with extreme force!!! :)
Rachael - Although I didnt interact with you much but I can see that you are a lovely and obedient gal. You looked pretty with your lovely white dress and pink tiara. :)
Overall, the party was fun with those kids and adults around. Plus the over flowing supply of food such as Old Chang Kee Curry Puffs, Soft Squids, Sotong Balls, Kueh Lapis, Curry, Fruit Tarts, Birthday Cake and etc made me full to the brim! Start to have phobia against such food le.
Anyway, here are the lovely photos taken during the party. Enjoy...

Went to STGCC 2009 @ Suntec Conventional Centre yesterday to view those toys, games and etc available in the market. Bought my Tofu Oyako stamp collection set as a new addition to my Tofu Oyako family which made me happy! Yippee...
There are also CosPlay on display there. Really admire those teenagers spending so much money, time and effort in dressing themselves up according to those characters. Photos taken during the exhibition...

Had a fully sponsored short trip to neighboring country during National Day Public Holiday long weekend. Truly speaking, I enjoy trip which is fully sponsored as it gives me the idea that I am being pampered by someone occasionally. Haha... Anyway, this was the 2nd trip sponsored by my super duper nice and handsome boss - Chong. :) The 1st trip was sponsored to Senai and this time was to KL cum Genting. Other than my super duper nice boss (Gotta emphasize it several times to show how nice he is), my other colleagues who tacked along are damn nice too especially MH. He did not complain for driving long journey from Singapore to KL to Genting (To & Fro). Of course other than him, Cindy's really nice husband also helped in the long distance driving. Overall, the trip is a nice one with not many stuff purchased as I am sian of Malaysia stuff after visiting the country for the past 20+ years. But, this KL trip is the first time for me as I only passed by the state a decade ago while on my way back from Genting. This Genting trip also marks my 10th year anniversary as the last time I went to Genting was 10 years ago!!! Overall, Genting is boring except the cool weather (But not as cold as before due to global warming. All thanks to selfish human beings who did not do their upmost part in saving the earth. I believe Genting will be like normal city temperature in a few years time if global warming still continues. Haiz...) Luckily, the trip is not wasted as I won some $$$ in Genting Casino. Lol... Anyway, let the numbers of photos do the talking...
Shall end my post here cos going to watch Chinese Vampires movie via TOM365.
